"A Solid Friendship" is a collection of 19 pieces created to summon love and joy through memory, drawing on personal experiences for emotional depth and reflection. The recurring motif of a lone dinghy adrift symbolizes both literal and metaphorical connections. Whether small and fragile or grand like an ark, these boats carry moments of significance, some straightforward, others metaphorical, capturing the artist's memories alone or with others. Though initially conceived as a single body of work, the pieces evolved over time, revealing new layers of emotion and meaning as they progressed.
