As part of a series titled "Age of Deconstruction" 2020-21, BEYOND SECRET CITY is an homage to the artist's love of a life of collaboration , romance, and artistic development within cities. The series celebrates and laments a collision of past and present motivations and inspirations.
 
This piece is composed of two mixed media works on paper.
They are made using acrylic paint, ink, pencil, and carbon transfer on cold pressed ©Canson 300g watercolor paper.
The two works are floated over a canvas-lined backboard which is presented within a wood and glass framed shadow box.
 
The individual pieces of paper are held up using pin clamps on their backs and one on top. This makes the works accessible for easy re-framing if need be or desired.
The clamps are attached to archival fabric tape on the backs of the paper. This keeps the works stable and reduces chance of damage to the work if they are removed from their current frame. 
 
The works on paper are 3 1/2" x 3" and 2" x 2".
 
The shadow box is 10" x 10" x 1 3/4". The back is fastened with a saw-tooth hanger with all 4 back corners equipped with felt buttons for protecting your walls.
 
The piece is shipped framed and ready to hang.
