This is number one of 11 unique works from the Never Better series, created in 2017. Titled Chinatown, it is done on Arches watercolor paper, measuring 16" x 12", and made with acrylic ink, acrylic paint, and striking black and gold iridescent inks. The orange splash, reminiscent of Sichuan chili crisp, adds a personal touch to this centaur-skeleton motif, originally conceived in the early 2000s. The gold’s iridescence, while subtle in photos, brings texture and depth in person. It comes framed in a simple 17" x 13" black plastic frame with glass and wire—perfect for displaying right away, though it could easily be upgraded down the line to suit your style or space.
