2024 28” x 16” x 3” The delicate lattice of wooden ladders in Kronos Crown is both fragile and resilient, wrapped in charred rice paper that has been repeatedly burned and rebuilt. The structure evokes a sense of architectural decay, but also the organic process of regeneration. The work suggests an ongoing tension between creation and destruction, as if the tower is constantly teetering between collapse and renewal, reflecting the inevitable passage of time and the erosion of what we build.
